Fantastic turnout for our Annual Forum 2021

At the UK FIRES Annual Forum on Tuesday 20th July, we heard 20 excellent talks from the directors of other UK activities focused on Resource Efficiency and Zero Emissions. While listening to the talks, delegates all contributed notes about give key questions for the UK FIRES agenda of stimulating industrial innovation compatible with the rapid transition to zero emissions, taking account of the risks and deployment rates of new energy infrastructure technologies. The UK FIRES team are now compiling the notes, and in a few weeks will issue a meeting report, comprising a directory of UK activities and forwards looking notes about accelerating the UK’s move to zero emissions.
