Dr Stefano Germano is a scientist with a great passion for innovation. He is currently a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford. His research focuses on how Artificial Intelligence (in particular, logic-based techniques) and Semantic Technologies can improve knowledge representation and reasoning in non-conventional environments.
Since the beginning of his career, Stefano has combined purely theoretical academic activities with practical ones. He has been involved in various international research projects with academic partners as well as small and large companies. Additionally, he was the founder and manager of some of them.
He also serves on several international conference committees. Driven by an innate curiosity and always eager to learn something new, he regularly participates in educational activities and events.
